Mitrochondrion and Chloroplasts

Mitrochondrion provides the energy for the cells. They are the power center of the cell, they are about the size of bactria
but may have different shapes depending on the cell. The cristae greatly increase the Inner membranes surface area.

Chloroplasts are specialized organelles found in higher plant cells these oganelles contain the plant cells chlorophyll, hence provides the green color. They have a double outer membrane. Within the stroma are other membrane structures the thylakoids and grana
(singular = granum) where photosynthesis takes place
